Western National Insurance Group is seeking an Application Administration Intern to join our Application Support team as part of the Summer 2027 Internship Program. The Application Administration Intern will provide support to a variety of projects and initiatives, while playing a key role in our day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, MIS, CIS, or related field
• Two years of college preferred
• Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills with proven ability to multi-task
• Aptitude towards problem identification and resolution
• Ability to follow project management practices
• Highly motivated with excellent customer service
• Proficient use of core systems and office software
• Ability to work onsite at our corporate office in Edina, MN

Responsibilities

• Establish and perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, and storage management
• Create and manage system configuration specifications, training manuals, and other internal system documentation
• Support end users with system questions and ad hoc training as needed; solicit feedback and requirements from end users
• Perform data cleanup, data migration, and data integration to/from the software platform, troubleshooting any issues; log and track issues until resolved
• Utilize knowledge and resources to find solutions
• Regular contact with employees across the organization
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
