The IT Analytics & Architecture Manager leads stakeholder partnerships, manages the technology portfolio, and oversees the delivery of solutions for analytics platforms, data management, and enterprise architecture. The role involves proactively identifying opportunities where technology can contribute to business success.

Primary responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders such as Graton's Planning & Analytics team and IT leadership to develop technology roadmaps, leading initiatives, and managing a team involved in data engineering, systems management, enterprise architecture & design, and escalation support.

This role acts as the systems owner for platforms and technologies including analytics & data warehouse platforms, databases, integrations, and architectural tooling. It also involves managing relationships with vendors.

Essential Functions:

• Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while supporting our values.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and teams, aligning business objectives with technology solutions, and collaborating on strategy, delivery, and support.
• Develop and communicate roadmaps for data & analytics initiatives to meet stakeholder goals, considering prioritization and strategic constraints.
• Establish an enterprise architecture practice to support technology strategy and capabilities, focusing on application and integration architectures.
• Define, plan, and lead projects, including scope, requirements, stakeholder communication, project financials, and managing exceptions.
• Coordinate with project teams and vendors for implementation, enhancements, upgrades, testing, data validation, change management, and adoption support.
• Promote change management, adoption, and training to maximize solution effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor analysts, engineers, and architects supporting related systems and projects.
• Lead solution analysis and selection initiatives.
• Manage systems lifecycles in partnership with IT teams.
• Oversee daily system operations and support via ticketing systems, including internal and outsourced services.
• Review system issues to identify impacts and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with Support Operations to enable effective first-level support and escalation paths, ensuring a great guest experience.
• Manage vendor relationships through participation in selection, contracting, negotiations, and performance management.
• Oversee data governance, security, and usage, ensuring smooth data flow and quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal forms.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of extensive, relevant IT experience.
• Experience leading and managing technology teams.
• Deep understanding of analytics and data solutions, including Microsoft Azure, Power BI, data integration, and data lake/warehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of business functions, capabilities, reporting, and system requirements.
• Ability to lead technology initiatives independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across organizational levels.
• Knowledge of regulations such as PCI, NIGC, and ensuring compliance of solutions and services.
