Job summary

The City of Phoenix is seeking an IT Analyst/ Programmer II to support the Phoenix Fire Department Technical Services software solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure. The role requires on-site presence and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders to configure applications and automate workflows.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with MSSQL, SSRS, and scripting in PowerShell or Python for ETL tasks.

Qualifications

Two years of business analysis and documentation experience.
Two years (or more) of development experience in PowerApps, Power Automate/SharePoint.
Two years (or more) of experience in cloud-based application support.
One year (or more) of experience in MSSQL Database functionality.
Analyze systems and procedures accurately, logically, and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

Work with customers to configure business applications to meet needs.
Communicate with stakeholders across technical levels; translate ideas into procedures.
Document support procedures and establish business processes for applications.
Perform daily system checks, monitor and respond to trouble tickets.
Create, configure, and maintain Power Automate workflows and tasks.
Create, configure, and maintain Power Apps deployments and pages.
Connect and maintain data integration in Power Platform for SQL Server, SharePoint and APIs.
Use T-SQL for data extraction and reporting; develop SSRS reports and ETL scripts in PowerShell/Python.
Create, maintain, and schedule data delivery for user reports.
Maintain interfaces and data transmission to state/federal agencies per policies.
