Job summary

The Children's Place is seeking an IT Analyst at the Fort Payne Distribution Center to handle Level 1-2 hardware and software support, including the warehouse management system and AS400 configurations.

You will work with Operations and Facilities Maintenance, resolve issues quickly, and stay on call 24/7 to assist remotely with a company laptop and Blackberry when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical college preferred.
• CCNP or 1–3 years of general networking experience.
• At least 3 years in desktop/WHSE systems support.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.
• Experience in a VOIP telecommunications environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Level 1-2 troubleshooting and configuration of facility hardware.
• Provide Level 1-2 support for the WMS, verify processes.
• Configure data integrity using query and file access tools on AS400.
• Coordinate with facilities staff to troubleshoot MHE interfaces and assist with config/database changes.
• Escalate Level 3 issues to corporate IT for resolution.
• Collaborate with Operations and Facilities Maintenance teams.
• Communicate with internal and external customers for needed support.
• Troubleshoot general technical problems for DC users.
• Be on call 24/7, carry a Blackberry, and respond remotely with a company laptop.
