Job summary

The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is seeking an IT Analyst III to lead backend development and infrastructure for the SEDI program. You will embed with a small, high-visibility team at the intersection of identity protocols, backend services, and interoperability with state and regulatory systems.

You will work on building, integrating, and sustaining the SEDI infrastructure, including cryptographic key concepts and credential workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for backend services.
• Understanding of cryptographic concepts and verifiable credentials is a plus.
• RESTful API design and consumption with JSON/XML experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend services, APIs, and infrastructure for SEDI implementation.
• Design and implement identity flows and credentialing integrations.
• Coordinate API integrations between systems and issuance platforms.
• Support authentication flows with SEDI and UtahID SSO.
