Job summary

Germanna Community College seeks an Information Technology Adjunct for the 2027 academic year to teach IT courses both in-person and online. Adjunct faculty may teach up to 12 credit hours in fall and spring and up to 8 credit hours during summer session.

The position supports enrollment needs and program requirements. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree with at least eighteen graduate hours in Information Technology, plus the ability to teach online and in traditional classrooms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Information Technology.
• Ability to teach IT both in-person and online.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach specific IT courses in the designated discipline, in-person and online.
• Develop course syllabi and instructional materials.
• Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
• Adhere to GCC and VCCS policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain current competence in the discipline.
