Job summary

Germanna Community College is seeking an Education Adjunct for the 2027 academic year to support anticipated instructional needs. The pool posting does not guarantee immediate openings and assignments depend on enrollment and program needs.

The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree with at least eighteen graduate hours in Education and be able to teach both online and in-person, with strong communication and instructional technology skills. Location: Spotsylvania, VA.

Qualifications

Ability to effectively teach classrooms and online.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral/written communication skills.
Ability to use instructional technology.
Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

Teach specific classes in the designated discipline.
Develop course syllabi and instructional materials.
Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations of GCC and the VCCS.
Maintain current competence in the particular discipline or field of specialization.
