Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: a master’s degree in an IT field or a master’s degree plus 12 credits from an IT field.
• To teach applied computer courses, a bachelor’s degree and professional tested experience equivalent to 6,000 hours and/or an industry‑recognized certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in IT in accordance with identified outcomes and may use varying delivery formats and sites.
• Collaborate in curriculum development and revision as needed.
• Meet scheduled classes and participate in faculty and college meetings.
• Ensure student outcomes are achieved and provide regular feedback on progress.
• Refer students to Academic Support and Student Services as needed and provide accommodations.
• Serve as a student academic advisor and assist in recruitment and retention efforts.
