Mayvin is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support IT procurements at Crane, IN, working on on-site/hybrid arrangements. You will coordinate with the CIO Office, NAV-IDAS, and Navy stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance with applicable policies.

The role requires compiling acquisition packages, tracking requests, and maintaining documentation while ensuring FAR/DFARS adherence in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of DoD acquisition experience.
• Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods and lead meetings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
• Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the point-of-contact for obtaining IT approvals for IT hardware, software, and services via Crane CIO Office and NAV-IDAS.
• Generate acquisition packages to support customer IT procurement requests.
• Prepare NAVSEA/NAVSUP statistical acquisition reports.
• Maintain electronic/hardcopy data libraries for processing documents.
• Coordinate with AMS/AQM personnel to support IT approval needs and document accordingly.
• Interface with customers across departments to determine IT procurement requirements and submit ITPRs into NAV-IDAS.
• Develop requirements and justifications; ensure compliance and respond to inquiries.
• Assist customers in achieving compliance across various areas.
