Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support national-security missions within a secure on-site environment. You will work with ISSMs, ISSOs, system administrators, and engineers to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, documented, and ready to support the mission.

Responsibilities include maintaining the IA posture, developing and enforcing security policies, and assisting with C&A activities under NIST RMF and DoD/ODNI guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience with information-system security policies, standards, methodologies and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to support day-to-day security operations.
• Experience assessing system changes for security impact.

Responsibilities

• Support ISSOs in implementing information security policies and standards.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and develop system security policies.
• Support ISSM in maintaining operational IA posture.
• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessments for C&A activities.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, Risk Assessments, C&A packages and other IA docs.
• Maintain C&A docs per ODNI/DoD policies and support NIST RMF.
• Manage system changes and provide CM for security-relevant components.
• Maintain records for devices and network hardware.
• Support day-to-day security ops and user authentication.
• Assist with ServiceNow transitions.
• Act as Approval Authority for Information Systems under your control.
