Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO or Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role supports the Missile Defense Division and works on RMF-based security processes using eMASS to ensure continuous monitoring and compliance.

The candidate will collaborate with Government and contract customers, maintain security documentation, and participate in technical discussions while working on-site.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of directly related ISSO experience.
• Direct experience with eMASS.
• Current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE).
• Ability to work on site 5 days per week.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support for RMF-based systems using eMASS.
• Review, update, and process ATO renewals and IATT renewals.
• Maintain POA&Ms including AO Liens and related actions.
• Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for the ISSM.
• Support MDA control validation testing (CVTs) and deliverables tracking.
• Assist with additional cybersecurity inspections (e.g., MCTO/CCRI/CORA/ESM).
• Document and review security controls and CCIs.
• Coordinate responses with Admin/ISSM and other ISSOs.
