Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Government Security Compliance team is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support East Hartford, CT. The role oversees RMF/JSIG-based security activities, collaborates with government authorities, and ensures authorization readiness for SAP-enclave systems.

Qualified candidates will hold an active SECRET-level clearance or higher, DoD IAM II (or higher) and strong writing/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree plus 4+ years in relevant fields, or equivalent senior experience.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II cert with ability to pursue Level III within 6 months.
• Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information system security objectives are achieved and risk is managed across IS under purview.
• Lead inspections, assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring for authorization readiness.
• Coordinate with Program Managers to embed cybersecurity requirements into programs.
