FLASH Technology Group in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer II to perform security assessments, design secure systems, and support RMF-driven authorization processes. The role requires TS/SCI with FS Polygraph and extensive DoD security experience.

The position emphasizes secure networking, enclave environments, and risk management across the system development life cycle, with substantial responsibilities in architecture, planning, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of ISSE experience or equivalent and DoD 8570 IASAE II compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field; 4 additional years may substitute.
• Experience with Cybersecurity principles, including access control, PKI, and secure architectures.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
• Define, analyze, and verify system security requirements and designs.
• Develop and integrate Cybersecurity controls for networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Support security authorization activities per RMF and DoD processes.
• Review C&A documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Assist government in enforcing trusted relationships among external systems.
