Job summary

The Swift Group in Reston, VA is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to design and secure complex systems across multiple enclaves, coordinating DoD RMF activities and accreditation processes. This on-site role requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph and DoD policy expertise to ensure secure architectures for mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 9+ years ISSE on large-scale programs.
• US citizenship and TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years with Master’s; 13+ years with HS diploma.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC).
• Experience with RMF packages, POA&Ms, and eMASS or similar A&A systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure complex system and network architectures across enclaves with varying classifications.
• Create, review, and maintain security authorization documentation per DoD policies.
• Lead RMF/DIACAP lifecycle activities and guidance for accreditation.
• Assess security risks of open-source, GOTS, and COTS software.
• Interpret vulnerability scans and drive mitigations to meet posture requirements.
• Collaborate with dev and infra teams to secure cloud-based big data systems.
