Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA, is seeking a Requirements Engineer to drive end-to-end requirements engineering for airborne ISR systems. You will elicit, analyze, document, and manage system and subsystem requirements, ensuring clarity and testability across cross-functional teams.
You will collaborate with customers, program leadership, and engineering teams to maintain traceability, support verification activities, and align requirements with program constraints
Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in a STEM field required, plus 2 years of relevant experience, OR a STEM Master's with relevant experience.
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher required.
- Experience in requirements management and traceability.
- Experience with MBSE approaches and tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end requirements engineering across the full lifecycle.
- Capture and clarify operational concepts and stakeholder needs with customers and leaders.
- Develop and maintain system and subsystem requirements specifications and ICDs.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, design, and tests.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, and test teams to verify and validate requirements.
