MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a Summer Research Program Intern for 2027 in the ISR Systems & Architectures Group. The intern will model and analyze ISR tactical systems, develop MATLAB-based models, and demonstrate new capabilities under a mentor.

Open to undergraduate (sophomore year or higher) or graduate students in physics, mathematics, electrical or mechanical engineering, aeronautics/astronautics, CS, or software engineering. Prior MATLAB experience is required.

Formación

• The successful intern will be an undergraduate (sophomore year or higher) or graduate student with a major in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautics/astronautics, computer science, or software engineering.
• Experience with MATLAB or a similar programming language is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop mathematical models of system performance based on physical principles and engineering.
• Implement models in MATLAB and build upon existing physics-based simulations or data analyses.
• Create and demonstrate one or more new modeling capabilities to answer mission-relevant questions.
