Job summary

Congruex is seeking an Inside Plant (ISP) Foreman/Technician in Ontario, CA. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing copper cabling and fiber optic systems for business clients.

You will manage a crew, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure safety and quality standards on site. The ideal candidate has experience with EM T conduit installation and bending, plus strong customer-facing communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years as a Foreman in telecom/ISP environments.
• Ability to install voice/data cabling and fiber optic cabling.
• Experience terminating mechanical connectors (Uni-cam, Fast-cam) and testing with Fluke.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces and at heights.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew with Project Manager.
• Serve as onsite point of contact for customers.
• Read project docs and interpret requirements.
• Perform work safely and efficiently on site.
• Lead onsite crew meetings and task delegation.
• Manage crew and daily timesheets.
• Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure.
• Maintain and service existing cabling systems.
• Test newly installed or relocated cables.
• Identify and remove redundant cabling.
• Troubleshoot cable network issues.
• Install cable support structures (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
• Ensure proper cable routing and safety compliance.
• Demonstrate mid to high-level knowledge of EMT conduit installation and bending.
