Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced ISP Engineer to design and develop Inside Plant (ISP) infrastructure across multiple network facilities and data center environments. The role emphasizes creating and updating engineering drawings, design packages, and supporting expansion projects involving fiber optic networks and equipment layouts.

You will produce and manage SOWs, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure documentation reflects current infrastructure while meeting project

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing ISP infrastructure and fiber networks.
• Proven ability to create and maintain engineering drawings and docs.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and physical layouts.
• Familiarity with design packages and SOWs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and update ISP engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Convert as-built docs into templates and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain network and data center layouts.
• Produce and manage SOWs and design packages.
• Support architecture and infrastructure design for facilities.
• Coordinate with teams to meet project requirements.
• Prepare documentation packages through design/approval phases.
• Interpret facility drawings and implement design modifications.
• Document fiber optic infrastructure in data centers.
• Produce rack layouts and equipment placement drawings.
• Maintain drawing accuracy reflecting current infrastructure.
• Support multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams throughout lifecycle.
• Ensure designs follow standards and best practices.
