Job summary

Tommy Bahama on the island invites guest-focused team members to join our dining experience, serving as ambassadors of the brand with aloha spirit. You will greet guests, share knowledge of food, beer, wine and cocktails, and ensure seamless service across bar and dining areas.

We seek individuals with 1+ year bartending or related hospitality experience, a valid food handler’s card, and the ability to comply with safety and service standards while delivering world-class dining on Hawaii’s

Qualifications

1+ year bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant.
You have a current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law.
You meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
You have basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality.
You have excellent guest service skills.
You have a high school diploma or GED.
Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business.

Responsibilities

Greet all Guests with a friendly smile, balancing service between bar top Guests and the service well.
Deliver knowledge of all food, beer, wine, and spirits menus – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
Practice proper cash handling, proper operation of the point-of-sale system and Hospitality Standards.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all team members and maintain proper stock levels (including inventory control and ordering) of perishables and spirits according to projected business.
