Job summary

Tommy Bahama in California is seeking an ambassador of our island-inspired concept to deliver 5-star service in a full-service restaurant. You will greet guests, share knowledge of our food, beverages, and presentation, and collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of bartending or related experience, hold a food handler card and alcohol service certification, and meet minimum age requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bartending or related experience in a full service restaurant
• Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by law
• Meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality
• Excellent guest service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly smile and balance service between bar top guests and the service well
• Deliver exceptional services by knowledge of all food, beer, wine, and spirits menus
• Maintain proper cash handling and operation of the POS system and Hospitality Standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment and manage stock levels and inventory of perishables and spirits
