Be the Island Guide
  • Create a relaxed destination – Greet all guests with a friendly smile, demonstrating genuine hospitality balancing service between bar‑top guests and the service line.
  • Set the course – Deliver exceptional service by providing knowledge of all food, beer, wine, and spirits menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
  • Build the perfect oasis – Practice proper cash handling, operating the point‑of‑sale system, and upholding hospitality standards.
  • Support your crew – Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all team members and maintain proper stock levels (including inventory control and ordering) of perishables and spirits according to projected business.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • 1+ year of bartending or related experience in a full‑service restaurant.
  • Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification required by federal/state/local law.
  • Minimum age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business.
Essential Physical Requirements
  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
  • Bending, stooping, and kneeling required – frequently.
  • Routine standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Maneuvering hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys, and other tools listed in the training manual.
  • Scheduled shifts determined by business needs.

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range: State Minimum Wage + Tips.
