Job summary

Warrior Insurance Network is seeking an iSeries Developer to modernize core RPG/ILE applications on the IBM i platform. The role emphasizes analysis, design, and collaboration across IT teams to implement APIs, AI-assisted improvements, and robust deployment processes.

You will work independently and as part of a team to deliver scalable solutions that support insurance operations and data integrity in a stable systems environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with full lifecycle delivery of complex systems.
• Proficiency in RPG on IBM i (AS/400) environments.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate into design.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and AI assisted development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and support core applications in RPG IV/ILE and Free form
• Gather requirements and create functional specs with stakeholders
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and coordinate with IT teams
• Create technical design documentation for projects
• Implement development standards and deployment processes
• Drive modernization using SQL, APIs, and AI tools
• Assist with production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Troubleshoot and improve reliability of existing apps
