Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in California seeks a Supervisory role to lead Assemblers, Operators and RF Microwave Technicians, driving output, yield and quality in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee daily cell meetings, report on performance and remove roadblocks to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include enforcing standard work, 5S, and safety compliance while collaborating with engineering and planning to resolve issues affecting deliveries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or accredited GED.
  • A minimum of 2 experience in a lead or supervisor role with manufacturing or electronics.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance which requires US citizenship.

Job description

In this role, you will impact the success of our supply chain operations by driving production efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

  • Supervises a team of Assemblers, Operators and/or RF Microwave Test Technicians and manages product output and quality. The work of this team includes tuning modules, CCAs and subsystems. Conduct daily cell meetings to review output, goals, yield and production related issues. Communicate results of daily cell meetings to management at daily Value Stream meetings. Help to set and communicate daily output goals for the team and remove roadblocks that are affecting output and/or quality. Create weekly reports that include output and yield for each product. Use rework and yield data to analyze trends and report unfavorable trends to management.
  • Place an extreme importance on quality including leading your team in the areas of strictly following documented procedures, double-checking work and error-proofing processes.
  • Conducts process confirmations to ensure standard work processes are being followed. Identifies and addresses non-compliance, looking for continuous improvement opportunities. Ensures all operational processes are carried out in accordance with quality systems and procedures.
  • Ensures 5S practices are adhered to and sustained within work are and ensures that Safety, Health and Environmental compliance is included as part of everyday activities.
  • Participates in staff selection, performance management (including evaluation and discipline), coaching training and employee development, while ensuring compliance to legal and company requirements.
  • Interface with engineering, quality, planning and other support groups to get the support and assistance needed to resolve issues that are affecting quality and/or deliveries.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
  • High school diploma or accredited GED

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $89000 - $111000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
