Medical or Behavioral Clinical SupervisorCareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor to identify, coordinate and oversee the delivery of program services to enhance the health, safety and general well-being of participants' goals toward maximum independence.
THE POSITIONCareStar is looking for a motivated individual with either of the below qualifications:
Medical Clinical Supervisor:
- Registered Nurse, physical or occupational therapist, physician assistant or othermid-level healthcare provider.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute care, ICF/ID long term care, or medicalrehabilitation.
- Must have at minimum three (3) years’ experience providing home andcommunity-based case management services for individuals with disabilities orother related disabilities.
- Effective organizational and communication skills.
- Experience providing care management/coordination preferred.
- Integrity and self-discipline with the ability to work independently within guidelines.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, waiver programs and community resources.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of and compliance with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
- Strong confidentiality as related to patient information.
- Strong adherenceto the Acceptable Use Policy, while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
OR
Behavioral Clinical Supervisor:- Must be one of the following: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Psychologist, LicensedProfessional Counselor, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, Licensed ClinicalSocial Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker or a Registered Nurse.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years professional experience with individuals withcomplex behavioral issues in a behavioral health setting related to individuals withID/DD (i.e. ICF/IDD, psychiatric inpatient hospital/facility, specialty clinicsorother rehabilitation/habilitation settings.
- Must have at minimum three (3) years’ experience providing home andcommunity-based case management services for individuals with disabilities orother related disabilities.
- Effective organizational and communication skills.
- Experience providing care management/coordination preferred.
- Integrity and self-discipline with the ability to work independently withinguidelines.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, waiver programs and community resources.

THE LOCATIONIt is anticipated that the ideal candidate will have responsibility in the Southern counties of the state, primarily Region 4.
