Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator to keep ISBM/IM lines running and producing quality bottles. You will perform preventative maintenance, start up and shut down equipment, and make mechanical adjustments to address quality issues.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, documenting adjustments, performing mold changes if needed, and ensuring safety and GMP compliance. The role requires physical stamina and ability to lift, carry and operate forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating ISBM/IM machines and making mechanical adjustments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick judgments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on ISBM/IM molds and machines, including cleaning.
• Start up and shut down molding equipment safely; adjust to fix quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify machine issues.
• Document all adjustments and changes to machinery.
• Perform quality checks on bottles and document issues in the quality system.
• Assist with mold changes as needed and follow safety guidelines.
