Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an IS&T Contracts Specialist to provide contract support for automation hardware, software and related services.

The work location can be either Houston, Texas or Reston, Virginia, with part-time telework options.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, BIS or SCM or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Level 2 requires 2-4 years or 6-8 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all phases of acquisition processes including vendor pre-qualification, bidding, negotiation, contract formation, award and administration.
  • Understand Non-Disclosure, Maintenance and Technical Services Agreements.
  • Gather and compile data for documents and contract administration.
  • Investigate contract problems and invoicing issues as assigned.
  • Maintain databases, records and periodic reporting.
  • Execute contracts in compliance with policy and laws.

Job Summary:

the company is searching for an IS&T Contracts Specialist who will provide contract support to the IS&T Contracts team. This role will be part of the team which specializes in acquisitions relating to automation hardware, software and related services.

The work location can be either Houston, Texas or Reston, Virginia.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Conducting all phases of the acquisition processes to include vendor pre-qualification, bidding, negotiation, contract formation, award, and administration required in the acquisition of products and technical services.
  • Understanding of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Maintenance Agreements, and Technical Services Agreements.
  • Gathering and compiling support data for the preparation of documents and the administration of technology contracts.
  • Conducting investigations and inquiries into specific contracts problems, invoicing issues, etc as assigned.
  • Accurately maintaining databases, records and periodic reporting.
  • Executing all contracts in compliance with company policy and applicable laws.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Level 1: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or other related field with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.

Level 2: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or other related field with 2-4 years of experience or 6-8 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and practices.
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic experience in developing and recommending potential solutions to contractual problems to management.
  • Some basic knowledge of technology contract types, terms and legal requirements.
