Your Role and Responsibilities

ABB Electrification seeks an experienced Information Technology Solution Architect to work with enpower's architecture and platform technologies. As a Solution Architect within the ABB IS organization, you will operate in a high-paced, international environment, solving complex problems, building our IS solution capabilities, and growing with our rapidly developing business. The ideal candidate should have a strong development background (.Net, ReactJS, SQL) to design and implement backend solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement technical solutions using coding and design principles across various languages and technologies (C#, .Net Core, SQL, JavaScript/ReactJS, etc.)
• Collaborate with business and team members to understand functional and technical requirements
• Identify and manage risks to platform delivery, including contingency planning
• Contribute to IS Problem and Incident Management to reduce ticket volume by addressing recurring defects
• Support issue resolution during project delivery to prevent delays or negative impacts

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience with SaaS software and web API system architecture
• Strong technical skills in:
• - .NET Core, ASP.NET, REST, Windows services, SQL
• - Contemporary web technologies (React.JS, Webpack, Babel.js, Node.js)
• - Cloud Technologies: AWS and related services (EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
• - Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, MACH architecture
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to articulate complex information clearly to peers, business teams, and external clients
• Proven problem-solving skills with limited information
• Experience overseeing code quality, version control, and staying updated on emerging technologies
