Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Arkansas is seeking an IS Design Manager to lead design production across the project life cycle, from development handoff to construction closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and energy outcomes while guiding the design team.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 5+ years in design with mechanical, electrical, or building automation systems, strong leadership, and proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of design related experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Attention to safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCad software packages.
• EI certification and/or PE licensure (preferred).
• PMI PMP certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supports the day-to-day management of design tasks, ensuring timely progress and accurate documentation.
• Guides and assigns tasks to junior staff, monitors performance, and provides mentorship.
• Ensures adherence to design standards and safety protocols and implements process updates.
• Assists in tracking labor hours and budgets, reviews time entries for accuracy, and supports resource planning.
• Facilitates clear communication between staff, project managers, and leadership, and supports client interactions.
• Participates in team activities, promotes a positive culture, and handles additional responsibilities.
