Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced design manager to oversee design tasks across mechanical, electrical, and building automation systems. You will guide projects, ensure timely progress, and maintain documentation aligned with goals.

You will mentor junior staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and enforce safety standards while supporting client interactions under supervision. Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive team development and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of design related experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Attention to safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCad software packages.

Responsibilities
