Job summary

People Incorporated seeks a Direct Care Professional—Individual Supports (IS) Counselor to support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes, implementing individualized plans and ensuring health, welfare, and safety. The role focuses on community integration and daily living support, with opportunities for meaningful impact.

The schedule is part-time, days, with a Monday–Friday, 10:00am–1:00pm window.

Qualifications

• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Supporting adults with development disabilities in individuals’ home
• Implements individualized programs as specified in Individual Service Plans
• Provides for individuals’ health and welfare, and ensures cleanliness and safety in homes
• Provide for individuals’ health and welfare and ensure general cleanliness and safety
• Assist with activities of daily living and household tasks
