The Center for Disability Services is hiring Day Program Counselors to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through engaging activities both onsite and in the community. No prior experience required and paid on-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NYS Driver's License in good standing may be required at some sites.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support independence in daily life.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and assist with activities catering to people’s interests.
• Provide necessary direct personal care to the people we support.
