Job summary

Resourcing HQ (RHQ) is seeking an IS Architect - Epic Bridges to lead integration architecture and development for Epic Bridges interfaces. The role focuses on designing multi-tiered HL7 interfaces and secure data exchange across Corepoint and Epic Bridges platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Epic Bridges experience, Epic Bridges Certification, and strong understanding of hospital workflows, HL7, FHIR, and API/Web Services. This is a primarily remote position requiring Texas residency.

Qualifications

• Epic Bridges Certification required.
• 5+ years with Epic Bridges integrations.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 interfaces and hospital workflows.
• Experience with Corepoint and Epic platforms.
• Experience with XML, SQL, FHIR and API/Web Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex multi-tiered Epic HL7 interfaces.
• Work with Corepoint, MFT, and Epic Bridges to integrate systems.
• Ensure secure integrations and adherence to Epic recommendations.
• Provide guidance and mentoring on integration topics.
• Participate in on-call rotation (24x7).

Job Description

Summary: Responsible for providing expertise and guidance for system data integrations and interfaces.
Design and perform development for complex multi-tiered integrations.
Able to make decisions aligning with best practices for secure integrations, Epic recommendations, and proper healthcare workflows.
Serves as subject matter expert for Epic Bridges, and Epic related integrations among others.

Responsibilities

• Works with applications and platforms including Corepoint, MFT, and Epic Bridges.
• Able to design and scope Epic HL7 interfaces according to best practices
• Design, build, and support integrations using HL7, API/Web Services, FHIR, and
• MFT/FTP technologies.
• Participate in 24x7 On call support rotation
• Provide guidance or mentor for various integration related areas

Work Experience

• Epic Bridges Certification
• Minimum of 5 years of Epic Bridges experience with building and supporting interfaces
• Additional Epic Certifications are helpful
• Possess experience and strong understanding of order transmittal and workflows within Epic
• Understanding of hospital and clinical workflows
• Minimum of 3 years of Corepoint experience
• XML experience preferred
• FHIR experience preferred
• Experience with API and Web Services preferred
• Knowledge and experience with SQL preferred
• Experience with architecture and design of complex multi-tiered integrations
• Strong understanding of security protocols related to Integrations
