Leoforce in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to join our growing litigation team. You will manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings and motions, and developing litigation strategy with senior colleagues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of employment defense experience, excellent advocacy skills, and a proven ability to independently manage cases.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar membership.
• 3+ years of employment defense litigation experience.
• Strong motion writing and legal research skills.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• 1200 annual minimum billable requirement or 100 per month.
• Monthly bonus on percentage of billables in excess of 100.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters through all phases of the case.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop practical legal solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
