Job summary

YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking a Lifeguard to provide a safe environment for all pool participants and to respond to emergencies with CPR and First Aid according to YMCA and American Heart Association guidelines.

The role requires vigilance, strong swimming skills, and the ability to enforce pool rules while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Lifeguard certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for all pool participants and monitor activities.
• Respond to emergencies and administer CPR and First Aid per YMCA/Heart Association guidelines.
