Job summary

JENSEN LANDSCAPE in Martinez, CA is seeking an irrigation technician to perform irrigation work at various job sites under limited supervision, following standard irrigation practices and safety guidelines.

The role requires reading plans, repairing sprinklers and valves, installing and maintaining irrigation systems, and guiding 1–2 laborers. A 3–5 year irrigation background and a valid California driver license are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of irrigation experience or equivalent
• California driver license with clean DMV record
• Knowledge of irrigation wiring and troubleshooting
• Ability to read irrigation plans and create as-built drawings

Responsibilities

• Irrigation work at specific job sites under limited supervision
• Read and interpret irrigation plans
• Repair all types of pipes and sprinklers, adjust controllers and valves
• Install and repair irrigation systems and valves up to 3"
• Direct/lead 1-2 laborers and instruct other technicians
• Complete field paperwork and time cards for each site
