Job summary

Jensen Landscape - A Monarch Landscape Company in Milpitas, CA is seeking an irrigation technician to perform installation and repair work across multiple sites. You will read plans, diagnose issues, and ensure irrigation systems operate safely and efficiently while coordinating with a field crew.

The role requires 3–5 years of irrigation experience or equivalent, and a valid California driver license. Certification is preferred and a strong focus on safety and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

Knowledge of irrigation wiring, troubleshooting, and fault locating.
California driver license with a clean DMV record.
3–5 years irrigation experience or equivalent.
Certified in irrigation preferred.
Ability to read and understand irrigation plans.

Responsibilities

Irrigation installation and repair at job sites.
Lead 1-2 laborers and instruct other technicians.
Read and interpret irrigation plans and drawings.
Create as-built drawings and work orders.
Operate and service irrigation controllers and valves.
Perform field paperwork and time cards for each site.
