Job summary

CEPRA Landscape in Florida is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to keep commercial systems thriving. The role offers hourly pay from $18.00 to $23.00 depending on experience, with long shifts Mon–Thu.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and tune irrigation systems across properties, maintaining records and ensuring water-regulation compliance. Requirements include a clean Florida driver’s license, background in irrigation, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs outdoors.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record.
• Commercial irrigation experience preferred; willing to train with landscape background.
• English communication skills required; Spanish a plus.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine irrigation inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on assigned properties.
• Identify and repair leaks, broken heads, valves, and other system issues.
• Adjust controllers and sprinkler zones for optimal coverage and efficiency.
• Create and manage monthly irrigation maintenance schedules.
• Installation of new irrigation components.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean, working condition.
• Communicate with supervisors and field teams regarding repairs and system updates.
• Ensure compliance with water regulations to meet company quality and safety standards.
• Perform or replace system parts such as valves, sprinkler heads, timers and piping as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts and system performances.
