Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co is hiring an Irrigation Technician to join our Gainesville Maintenance team. The role covers routine inspections, on-site troubleshooting, and repairs to commercial irrigation systems.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year of irrigation experience and a valid driver’s license; irrigation certifications are a plus. We offer on-the-job training, benefits, and a team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in irrigation maintenance/installation in commercial or residential settings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Possess irrigation certification(s) preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans or diagrams.
• Experience servicing and troubleshooting irrigation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine irrigation inspections for designated properties.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation system issues.
• Replace or repair components (pipes, heads, valves, timers).
• Provide upgrade recommendations tailored to client needs.
• Manage irrigation inventory and keep tools organized.
• Maintain safety protocols and company vehicles.
• Complete daily reports with estimates and timecards.
