Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is hiring an Irrigation Technician to join the Panama City Maintenance team. You will perform routine irrigation inspections, troubleshoot issues, and repair components to ensure optimal system performance for commercial properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year irrigation maintenance/installation experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Basic knowledge of construction plans and diagrams.
• Irrigation certification(s) preferred.
• Experience with servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting irrigation systems preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers and sensors preferred.
• Ability to interact and communicate with clients.
• Familiarity with smartphones and basic computer operations.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driving license with a clean record; able to pass a DOT physical if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine irrigation inspections for designated commercial properties.
• Identify and resolve irrigation system issues through troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Replace or repair components such as pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, or timers.
• Provide recommendations for upgrades tailored to clients’ needs and objectives.
• Manage irrigation inventory and ensure tools and materials are stocked and organized.
• Promote safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain company vehicles in good condition and reflect the company’s image.
• Record daily reports including property reports, estimates and timecards.
