Qualifications

• Practical electrical diagnostics with meters and locators.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting for valves and PVC mains.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot and repair complex irrigation systems.

Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiables)

• Valid Florida Driver's License: Clean driving record required to operate company service trucks.
• 5+ Years Dedicated Irrigation Experience: Proven track record in commercial or high-end residential systems.
• 2-Wire Systems Mastery: Advanced proficiency with Hunter ACC2/ICD and Rain Bird ESP-LXIVM systems (decoders, tracking open wires, shorts, and wire path tracing).
• Electrical Diagnostic Skills: Hands-on experience using multimeters, wire locators, and valve locators for solenoid resistance, amp, and voltage testing.
• Hydraulic Knowledge: Expertise in diagnosing stuck/weeping valves, diaphragm failures, and high-pressure PVC mainline/lateral repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, service, and repair complex 2-wire and conventional irrigation systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic locators and meters to trace faults, find buried valves, and repair electrical shorts efficiently.
• Program commercial controllers, build custom water schedules, and perform system audits.
• Document job notes cleanly and recommend system upgrades directly to property managers and homeowners.
