The Master’s Lawn & Pest in Fruit Cove, FL is seeking an experienced irrigation technician to troubleshoot and repair advanced irrigation systems, including 2-wire and conventional setups. A valid Florida driver’s license and a proven track record in irrigation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• 5+ years dedicated irrigation experience in commercial or high-end residential systems.
• 2-Wire Systems mastery with Hunter ACC2/ICD and Rain Bird ESP-LXIVM (decoders, troubleshooting).
• Electrical diagnostic skills using multimeters, wire locators, and valve locators.
• Hydraulic knowledge: diagnosing valve issues and high-pressure mains.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, service, and repair complex irrigation systems (2-wire and conventional).
• Use diagnostic locators and meters to trace faults, locate buried valves, and repair shorts.
• Program commercial controllers, create custom water schedules, and perform system audits.
• Document job notes clearly and communicate upgrade recommendations to managers and homeowners.

• 2-Wire Systems Mastery: Advanced proficiency with Hunter ACC2/ICD and Rain Bird ESP-LXIVM systems (decoders, tracking open wires, shorts, and wire path tracing).
• Electrical Diagnostic Skills: Hands-on experience using multimeters, wire locators, and valve locators for solenoid resistance, amp, and voltage testing.
• Hydraulic Knowledge: Expertise in diagnosing stuck/weeping valves, diaphragm failures, and high-pressure PVC mainline/lateral repairs.
