Job Title: Irrigation Technician II (LCON)

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Irrigation Technician II (LCON) position at SSC.

Location

TAMU - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• At least 1 year of irrigation experience

Pay Range

$13.00 to $17.50 per hour

Job Summary

Performs routine irrigation management tasks, including digging, pipe repair, head/valve replacement, and small equipment operation. Uses math skills for irrigation calibration and auditing.

Essential Duties

• Repair underground sprinkler and drip systems
• Adjust spray heads for coverage
• Implement and adjust irrigation schedules
• Replace valves and pressure control devices
• Install and modify irrigation systems
• Operate trenching and small equipment
• Maintain records and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Two years of irrigation repair experience
• Valid State Irrigation Technician License
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate irrigation equipment

Working Conditions
