Job summary

AZ MetroScapes, Inc. is seeking an Irrigation Technician to operate, service and repair the golf facility's irrigation system. You will perform preventive maintenance, identify wet and dry zones, and ensure reliable system operation through routine inspections and timely repairs.

You will follow safety practices, maintain equipment inventories, and document repairs. Valid driver's license required; English proficiency may be needed to communicate with staff and read manuals.

Qualifications

• Certificate or college/technical school training required or equivalent experience.
• Regular attendance and reliability are expected.
• English reading/speaking may be required to communicate with staff or read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service and repair a complex irrigation system for the golf facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the irrigation system and lake re-circulation water features.
• Determine wet and dry zones for sprinkler head adjustments.
• Inventory and stock irrigation parts and tools to minimize downtime.
• Maintain knowledge of pump station maintenance requirements and electrical components.
• Report irrigation breaks promptly and maintain a daily repair log.
• Conduct monthly sprinkler head checks and routine inspections of system components.
• Winterize and blow out irrigation lines, valves and pump stations.
