Job summary

Isleta Resort and Casino is seeking an irrigation maintenance technician to care for water and irrigation systems across the golf course and surrounding properties. You will promote World Class Guest Service while performing preventive maintenance and repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of irrigation or related experience, plus the ability to work flexible hours and pass background checks. On-site position at the Isleta resort grounds.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; college/technical training preferred.
• Two years irrigation, grounds keeping, or related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and adjusts sprinklers and irrigation systems across the golf course and Isleta Lakes property.
• Maintains and repairs irrigation system including leaks on distribution lines, valve risers, electrical system, controllers.
• Reports irrigation breaks to Superintendent.
• Performs preventive maintenance on irrigation system and water features.
• Waters golf course fairways, greens, practice areas, trees and shrubs.
• Rakes bunkers and repairs divots as needed.
• Maintains facility grounds, trees and shrubbery.
• Maintains tools and equipment and irrigation inventory.
• Conducts monthly checks of all sprinkler heads.
