Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience with commercial irrigation systems and related operations.
• Experience in large-scale landscaping/grounds maintenance.
• Ability to evaluate irrigation performance and adjust schedules for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform irrigation work across campus systems including inspections, installations, repairs and monitoring water flow.
• Evaluate system performance, water pressure and sprinkler coverage to identify issues and apply corrective actions.
• Adjust irrigation schedules to conserve water and optimize operations.
• Diagnose failures and determine repair methods based on conditions.
• Train staff on irrigation operations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with standards and department expectations.
• Coordinate with Grounds Supervisor and assist with landscaping projects as needed.
