Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems across outdoor environments. You will operate trenchers and soil compactors, program controllers, and install sensors to optimize water use.

Qualifications include 1–5 years of irrigation experience, a valid driver's license, and the TCEQ Irrigator's Tech license; training is offered with negotiable pay. The role requires physical work outdoors and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years landscape irrigation experience required.
• Knowledge of communication cable and radio communication/hardware preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical fittings and mechanical gate valves.
• Understanding of irrigation controller hardware.
• Two wire system experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect irrigation systems and document repairs.
• Clean decorative water features.
• Excavate and trench using hand tools.
• Backfill and compact soil to minimize spoils.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite safety.
• Program conventional controllers and set up rain sensors and soil moisture sensors.
• Repair irrigation valves and PVC/ductile iron mains.
• Record materials and labor for each job.
