Yorba Linda Country Club in Yorba Linda, CA seeks an Irrigation Technician to operate, service and repair its complex irrigation system on a hospitality-focused property. The role includes preventative maintenance of lake and water features, seasonal winterization, and daily repair logging.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 3–6 months of related experience; golf course irrigation experience is a big plus.

Responsabilités

• Operates, services, and repairs the irrigation system.
• Performs preventative maintenance on lake recirculation system and water features.
• Identify wet/dry areas for sprinkler head adjustments.
• Inventory and stock irrigation parts and tools to minimize downtime.
• Maintain pump station maintenance knowledge and respond to irrigation breaks promptly.
• Record daily repairs and prioritize irrigation issues; conduct monthly sprinkler head checks.
• Perform winterization and blowout of irrigation system; ensure safe work practices.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

General Purpose

Operates, services, and repairs the varied components of the irrigation system.

• Performs preventative maintenance on the irrigation system including the lake re-circulation system and water features.
• Determines wet and dry areas for adjustments of sprinkler heads.
• Properly inventories and stocks all irrigation parts and tools in order to minimize down time.
• Maintains working knowledge of pump station maintenance requirements
• Operates, maintains and repairs a complex irrigation system, including leaks on the distribution lines, valve risers, electrical system, computer and irrigation control wire.
• Reports any serious irrigation breaks immediately to the Head Irrigation Technician or Superintendent and maintains a daily log of completed repairs.
• Prioritizes irrigation breaks and uses time efficiently.
• Conducts monthly checks of all sprinkler heads on the entire golf facility.
• Routinely inspects irrigation system components to ensure system is operating properly.
• Responsible for winterization and blowout of irrigation system, including all water lines, valves and pump stations
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Certificate from college or technical school is preferred;and a minimumthree to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Other Qualifications

• Prior golf course maintenance and irrigation experience is a major plus.
• Must have ability tolift heavy objects.
• Must be able to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize well.
