Job summary

Rockaway Inc. is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The role requires independence, quality service, and efficient system operation.

Responsibilities include inspections, WeatherMatic SmartLink setup, fault monitoring, diagnostics and repairs of valves, wiring, controllers, pumps, and more. Strong safety adherence and paperwork accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of irrigation experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems and determine repair needs.
• Basic computer skills for entering work orders and using company software.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow company policies and safety standards.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Maintain truck inventory and keep materials stocked.
• Respond to emergency irrigation service calls when needed.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and assist with developing SOPs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

$24.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience.
