Job summary

Osprey Landscape Group in Washington state is seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our Maintenance Division. You'll diagnose and repair irrigation components, read zone maps, and provide on-site service to clients across multiple locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, ability to work independently, and good communication. JS-6 certification must be earned within one year; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or 6+ months of relevant experience)
• Solid understanding of irrigation systems and tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• JS-6 certification required within one year of hire
• Conversational Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our Maintenance Division. This role involves diagnosing and repairing irrigation system components including controllers, valves, wiring, piping, sprinkler heads, and backflow preventers. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems
• Read and interpret zone maps, plans, and schematics
• Train and support technician trainees as needed
• Maintain accurate daily documentation (timecards, reports)
• Provide professional, on-site service to clients across multiple locations
• Perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions

Requirements
