We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team at the prestigious Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, one of the premier workplaces in Northeast Florida. Our team values our people and strives to provide exceptional service in a 5-Diamond Certified environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Training and Experience: Experience with chemical applications, pesticides, fertilizers; valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of landscape equipment; experience with calibration and application of agricultural equipment.

Job Summary

Identify and treat ornamental pests proactively, perform grounds maintenance, and operate related equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain professional appearance and punctuality.
• Attend training and safety courses, follow safety protocols.
• Manage chemical storage and records accurately.
• Monitor and treat property issues, identify pests, and apply chemicals accordingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
